The 1000 album 'Dave Cash Collection' will be released through all major digital music stores on 9th May, something never achieved by a DJ before in the world.
THE BEST JOB I'VE EVER HAD OUTSIDE OF RADIO
One Media iP, the PLUS quoted consolidators and acquirers of music and video content has exclusively retained the services of Dave Cash, legendary 60's 'Pirate Radio London' and BBC DJ and is launching 'The Dave Cash Collection' of over 1000 albums containing the hits from the last 6 decades and every genre of music plus rare recordings and live performances. The collection is a first for Radio DJs, never before has this number of albums been compiled and released by such a respected DJ through digital stores worldwide at one time including iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, HMV and Tesco.
Dave Cash has gained an incredible expert knowledge of music through his work as a DJ on 'Pirate Radio London', 'BBC Radio 1', 'Capital Radio' and currently regional BBC shows. Working along side One Media's team of Creative Technicians at their offices at Pinewood Studios Dave was given access to the library through the 'in-house' software system with unique search facilities allowing him to seek out the rare gems, outstanding live recordings and revisit the hits to form this unique collection. The music from the 'forties' to the 'noughties' features performances from Artie Shaw, Django Reinhardt, Bill Haley, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Anita Harris, Marmalade, Johnny Burnette, The Troggs, George McCrae, Rose Royce, Sex Pistols, Sham 69, Katrina, Evelyn Thomas, Chaka Khan, Aaliyah, Mica Paris, Ashanti, Toni Braxton, 2Pac, Liberty X and Snoop Doggy Dogg to name but a few of the 3000 artists featured in the collection selected from One Mediaâs library of over 100,000 tracks.Dave Cash commented
When Michael Infante (CEO) of One Media iP asked me if I would like to explore their immense library and compile albums, I thought this has got to be the best fun I've had outside of Radio. And so it proved. There were classics and gems from Ella Fitzgerald to Elvis Presley, Hank Williams and Jerry Lee Lewis. I found tracks from Donald Fagan and Walter Becker before they formed Steely Dan which was like finding Lennon and McCartney before the Beatles, Lynn Anderson singing 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia', and two days worth of Django Reinhardt! They also opened a whole world of Classical music which allowed me to indulge in a week of Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach which I dare not admit to on Rock 'n' Roll Radio! This has been the best job I've ever had outside radio and I hope you like what I've chosen.

This was a great opportunity for One Media to utilise the expertise of such a well known and respected DJ, its been a pleasure to have Dave in the office over the last few months creating 1000 compilations from our library. We're all looking forward to continuing to work with Dave on his new projects.
This is just the beginning of Dave's work in the 21st century digital music scene with One Media iP. Along with other well known, new and legendary DJ's Dave will be launching the Kissing Frogs Music label later this year which will feature up and coming artists selected by the panel of DJ's and will be distributed by One Media.
